Snowsports plans December: St. Anton, Austria
Upps... This just got cancelled. Just the exam then on December 23th in Kaprun.
So I will be in St. Anton from December 18th.
From 25 December untill January 9th I will be in St. Anton, working for the Ski School Arlberg as a private instructor (ski).
If you're in town during that time and would like some lessons, feel free to ask for me at the skischool ;)
Oh, and the weekend of 10-12 December: St. Anton as well.

It depends. Last season was pretty bad in December but it can just as well be full powder. Normally a good part of the area will be open around that time. Let's keep our eye on http://www.snow-forecast.com/

hey!
I am going to st.anton 8 Desember, and just wondering if you know how much snow they normally have? Is it fun to ride so early in the season?
best regards from Norway.

I am a ski instructor. Yes, you can go directly to the skischool and apply for a job. See: http://www.skischool-arlberg.com/english/jobs.html You can get a basic ski- or snowboard instructor license in about 2 weeks. The ski school can help you with this or you can go directly to an academy like: http://www.snowsports-academy.at/ A local link that might work is: http://www.arlberg.info/?mID=36 You could also try something like: http://www.natives.co.uk/ Also, just contact the tourist office and ask them for a list: http://www.stantonamarlberg.com/ Finally, if you are going, let me know ;-)

Hi Hugo!
I saw that you are working in St Anton during the winter season. I love snowboarding and I am planning to spend the following season in St Anton. Do you have any tips on where I could find a job in St Anton? What do you work with and how did you get that job?
I really need some help and i would appreciate it highly!
Regards, Philip
